Process

Rough Draft: Animatic

Sourcing Mojo provided a script with basic images to Infinite Motion. Our first step was to create an Animatic, a rough animated version of the movie with a basic soundtrack.

The goal of an Animatic is to get an estimate on movie length, pacing, and approximate cost.

Refine Graphics

The next step is recreating all of the graphics and dropping them into the animatic to get an idea of what the final piece will look like before full animation. Adding scene numbers helps us reference which scenes may need changes.

Full Animation

Finally we animate the full piece and polish the audio edit, allowing the client to make revisions.

Our process allows the client to better see how the project is developing, allowing them to make changes during production, not just after the final animation. It lets them see progress and gives them better control over the project.
